I love this quote about teaching. It really sums up why I want to be a teacher and what I believe about teaching. Teaching is all about the children and how you can influence them. Teaching for me is all about listening to the children and finding out what they like, who they are, and what they care about learning. I want to teach for the children while teaching the standards. Each child in my classroom is an individual that can change the world and when they step into my classroom they should feel safe and welcome. Teaching is about the whole child and developing the person not teaching a subject.
